    Where is CUri8 and RStringPool

    Hello there,
    I wrote some SIP related program and tried to use CUri8 and RStringPool which as the SKD claims should be linked to using inetprocutil.lib and bafl.lib respectively.
    I normally work with 3rd FP2 so when i added those to my mmp file the linker complains about undefined symbols refereing to the aforementioned classes. However when I compiled the program using 3rd MR eveything went just fine.
    Is there a change in these libraries between the releases or what?

    Maintenance release is very much similar to the 3rd Edition Main Release.
    This is what the release notes say:

    This release is a maintenance release (MR) fixing several issues with
    the emulator and toolchain. The documentation set has also been updated.
    Apart from a few removals (see below) the API set is identical.

    Can you show those errors? And the contents of your .mmp file.

    I guess he is talking about S60 3rd FP2 and S60 3rd MR.

    Re: Where is CUri8 and RStringPool

    This is where it complains

    CSIPFromHeader* proxy=CSIPFromHeader:ecodeL(_L8("sip:192.168.152.1:5060"));
    CUri8* uri=CUri8::NewL(proxy->SIPAddress().Uri8().Uri());

    I know this isn't the best ay t construct a CUri8 but it should would. Any easier way is appreciated.

    These are the errors
    1177316887593 Undefined symbol: 'class TUriC8 const & CUri8::Uri(void) const (?Uri@CUri8@@QBEABVTUriC8@@XZ)'

    1177316887609 Undefined symbol: 'class CUri8 * CUri8::NewL(class TUriC8 const &) (?NewL@CUri8@@SAPAV1@ABVTUriC8@@@Z)' SIP1 Unknown C/C++ Problem

    and this the the part we are interested in from the mmp file

    LIBRARY euser.lib
    LIBRARY apparc.lib
    LIBRARY cone.lib
    LIBRARY eikcore.lib
    LIBRARY avkon.lib
    LIBRARY commonengine.lib
    LIBRARY efsrv.lib
    LIBRARY estor.lib
    LIBRARY aknnotify.lib
    LIBRARY hlplch.lib sipclient.lib sipcodec.lib sipprofilecli.lib bafl.lib inetprotutil.lib
