    Dynamically hide-unhide the application icon

Is there any way how to hide the application icon from "Menu-Applications" dynamically? Or if not is there any way how to decide during the installation process whether the icon should be visible or not? To set hidden = KAppIsHidden; is not good enough.

    Thank you.

There is no way for doing that in run-time.
On installation time, you can use conditional installation (select _reg.rsc from multiple possible resources, or just choose between install/not install the registration resource, the latter obviously resulting in a hidden application). However the possible set of conditions will not necessarily satisfy your needs, check the SDK Help (search for something like pkg condition)
