Problem while Installing Qt Garden Release !

    Hi,

I installed Qt Garden, S60 5th Edition SDK and Carbide C++ v2.0 all in the same drive. I updated the Path Environmetal Variable. I followed the instructions given in the Qt installation guide.

But while building the Qt for the winscw udeb, i am getting too many errors like this:

Re: Problem while Installing Qt Garden Release !

Have you configured Qt for S60 using following command??
    ..\Qt\4.5.0-garden>configure -platform win32-mwc -xplatform symbian-abld

Note that your default device must be S60 5th Edition SDK during installation time.

I suggest you to follows all steps mentioned by this link.

Re: Problem while Installing Qt Garden Release !

    Hi,

I am following the steps in the link, but getting error in the step 5 while building the Qt for the emulator.

I've done the configuration, no issues doing that.

My Path variable is as follows:
    C:\Qt\Garden\bin;C:\Program Files\Nokia\Carbide.c++ v2.0\x86Build\Symbian_Tools\Command_Line_Tools;C:\Perl\bin;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symbian\tools;C:\Program Files\CSL Arm Toolchain\bin;C:\S60\devices\S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v0.9\bin;C:\S60\devices\S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v0.9\epoc32;C:\S60\devices\S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v0.9\bin;C:\S60\devices\S60_3rd_FP2_SDK_v1.1\epoc32;C:\S60\devices\S60_3rd_FP2_SDK_v1.1\bin;C:\Qt\2009.01\bin;

    Anything is wrong in this?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Sachin

Have you installed binaries using following exe??

    !:\Qt\4.5.0-garden\qts60binaries\5.0\qtlibs-4.5.0-garden.exe

And have you passed correct path to install Qt binaries in step 5?? For example: C:\S60\devices\S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v0.9\

    Hi,

Have you configured your carbide for winscw environment ?

You can configure it from start-programs-carbideC++2.0-Configure for winscw environment.

It may create such error if you had not configure it.
    Hope this will helps you.
    Regards.

Sounds like EPOCROOT is not set. On the command-line, you need to
    1) use 'devices' to set the default device
    2) set EPOCROOT

    Hope this helps...
