    Problem with highlighting text using SetSelectionL

    Hi all,

    I'm using a CEikGlobalTextEditor to display a text and mark words. Now I've two problems:

    1. I can't set the highlight color correctly. I'm using
    Code:
    charFormatMask.SetAttrib( EAttFontHighlightColor );
    charFormat.iFontPresentation.iHighlightColor = TLogicalRgb( orange );
    iGlobalText1->ApplyCharFormatL( charFormat, charFormatMask );
    but nothing changes, the standard color stays.

    2nd one: on the 6220, the SetSelectionL function does nothing - simply moves the cursor to the start position but does not highlight the text. Is highlighting not supported here?

    Thanks for your help!

    Chris

    Re: Problem with highlighting text using SetSelectionL

    I've just seen it being done in another program, so there must be a way to change the color of the highlighted text. No Ideas?
