    WML Browser: unsupported content type

    Hi everyone,
I am trying to create a xhtml page but when I connect with my terminal receipt this message: WML Browser: unsupported content type.

    In the head of the file I put:<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="application/vnd.wap.xhtml+xml" /> . It's correct? what are i doing badly?

    Many thanks in advance

    Hi!

The MIME type for XHTML is text/html

For more information about the MIME types and which phones are supported you can find from http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,35452,1_1_15,00.html#phones

    and document 'Nokia_WAP_Phone_MIME_Types_v1_3.pdf'

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

check the document "XHTML_Guidelines.pdf" in Browsing/WAP -> Documents! At least you should start your document with correct XML DOCTYPE definition. I've successfully used content-type "text/html" for compability issues. Try also run your document through W3 validator.

RE: WML Browser: unsupported content type

    Hi!

Please notice that Nokia 3510i has only WML browser and it does not support XHTML MP. So, you cannot access XHTML services with that particular phone or with Nokia 3510i Content Authoring SDK. Please see Nokia GSM WAP Phone Characteristics document (http://www.forum.nokia.com/documents) to find out which Nokia phones have XHTML browser.

    Kind regards,
