    Make sure you have installed GCCE in your same drive while you install SDK.

    I have played many times with the installation stuff i think that you should accept the default path as C:\symbian instead of any custom folder like in your case S60 , in that case you can run it vista or xp doesnt matter

    If you ever happened to install S60 3rd FP2 SDK, then C:\S60 is the default location for it. Try it out.

    Good for you. There are many like you and many like changshiop. I was one of the "changshiop" and I solved it which I noted in the Wiki article.

    I can't find the problem which is the same as mine.I think my main problem is told on my bug report at https://xdabug001.ext.nokia.com/bugz...ug.cgi?id=8963. Just like this:

    Opening the pkg file, the path are:
    "
    Files to install
    "..\..\..\epoc32\release\gcce\urel\HelloWorldBasic.exe"
    -"!:\sys\bin\HelloWorldBasic.exe"

    {

    "..\..\..\epoc32\data\z\resource\apps\HelloWorldBasic.r31"
    "..\..\..\epoc32\data\z\resource\apps\HelloWorldBasic.r32"
    } -"!:\resource\apps\HelloWorldBasic.rsc"

    "..\..\..\epoc32\data\z\private\10003a3f\import\apps\HelloWorldBasic_reg.rsc"
    -"!:\private\10003a3f\import\apps\HelloWorldBasic_reg.rsc"
    "..\..\..\epoc32\data\z\resource\apps\helloworldbasic_aif.mif"
    -"!:\resource\apps\helloworldbasic_aif.mif"
    "

    Where should I modify?Thank you for replying my primary question. I am a new
    learner...

    Thank you for your reply!!
    The errors are "arm-none-symbianelf-ld: cannot find -lgcc" and make[1]: ***

    make: *** [TARGETHELLOWORLDBASIC] Error 2

    cannot find -lgcc????Is it possible that I haven't installed gcce correctly?
    ------- Comment #6 From Matt Pinsonneault 2009-04-30 10:43:09 [reply] ------- Try modifying the path in the pkg file as follows:

    replace gcce with ($PLATFORM)
    replace udeb with ($TARGET)
    //How can I do ?
    This should cause the path to change depending on whether you're making a sis
    file for the ARMV5 or GCCE platforms, and for UDEB or UREL targets.

    Should I change the build configuration? When I selecting the [gcce release],
    the error and that of building by [gcce debug] are the same.How should I
    configure?
    Thank you!
