    Dialing Different number all together!!!

    Hello All,

I just want to ask following use case is possible or not?

When user dials out any number, i just want to take that number and my app should able to dial different number without disconnecting that call.

For this, I tried to listen for dialing event. I have got the dialing event. I can also get that number. But now how i can change that number to a different number.

    Any Suggessions?

    Thanks
    Pritesh

Without disconnecting the original call, how can you change the number and re-dial, thats not possible. Whats your exact use case can you explain that in a lil bit detail? Why cant you disconnect the original call once you got the number though?

Also note you cant have 2 calls in the dialling state at the same time on the same interface, in your case GSM.

    Cheers,
    Mayank

As stated you cannot make two calls simultaneously. Is it that you want the user to feel that he is dialing a number 12345, but internally your application is changing that number from 12345 to 67890 and dialing it. Is it something like that, your requirement is not clear.

Well if thats the case, what you need to do is this :-

    1. User dials out 12345
    2. You get notified of a EStatusDialling in your call state notifier
    3. At this point using the GetCallInfo you can get that the number being dialed out is 12345
    4. You store that number and disconnect the original call
    5. Then you dial out to the other number say 67890
    6. Once the call has been connected you can send out the original digits as DTMF using SendDTMFTones
    7. On the other end presumably your server will pick up the DTMF digits and do whatever u want to do with it.

    Hope that helps..

    Cheers,
