How to check the status of the GPRS server?

    Hello friends,
Does anybody know how to check the status of GPRS server connection? I want to check whether server is active or down. If anybody knows the API's please let me know. I have checked all API's regarding communication. But I didn't get any suitable answer.
    Thanks in advance.

Re: How to check the status of the GPRS server?

    Hi Yucca,
I have tried the example given by you. It gives me following answers:

    1) err = -1
    connection status
    connection uninitialized
    2) err = 0
    GSM
    HomeNetwork
    3) err = 0
    Bearer
    EdgeGPRS.

This is come without initializing the GPRS connection. Is this because of I have not included code for GPRS or is there any other issue?
Kindly help me out from this problem.
    Waiting for your reply.

You could check the codes inside the example, as well as API documentations for the class to see what different parts are doing.

anyway, it appears that you are connected to a GSM (not 3G) network that has EDGE on it and you are not having any connections active..

Ok Yucca. I will try with my GPRS connection & then check what value it returns. Also I check about the API documentations.
