    How to get correct time.

    Hello,
I'm trying to get real time using Calendar and Date classes. The time returend during execution under 7210 emulator is correct. But both Series 60 emulators return time without time zone shift. The real 7650 also shows time without shift. I played with TimeZone class but got no luck. So.. how to get real\correct time.

    Thank you,
    Andrey

I find that on the 7210 you get the right time, but the timezone says GMT+0000 even though the time given is local time. I understand this... there is no timezone setting on the phone. But it means I cannot generate correct time information if I need TZ too. (Or if I need to know if we're on daylight saving time or not).

The only way around this I've found is to have the server-side of my application send current time and date (with GMT offset) as part of it's response. (And as long as the server's in the same TZ as the phone, I'm OK...!)
