    First clean the project clearly. Remove your build folder from epoc32.

    Then build the project again.
    Makes sure the change application name do refect in your _reg file.
    Be sure of all the changed name.

    If you just require to change your application name then there is one way just change the caption name of your application in .loc file.
    Keep rest of the file same.
    In this case your viewable name would get change but internal file ref would be same.

    But in case you want to change the whole project then for your problem of Activation_0xE7B4D19D.rsg file.

    Check your .rss file as your .rsg is not getting created. Please check your .rss and target name that you given in your .mmp file.

    Note, the initial parts of the discussions are from 2005 (probably 2nd ed).
    Apart from that only you can check if you have done all the things mentioned in : http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...38&postcount=4
    If yes, then it should work after clean re-build.

    If you are using LOCALISABLE_APP_INFO, you could have tried not renaming your files just modifying the caption resources.
    Anyway, based on the messages your main resource file used to be Activation_0xE7B4D19D.rss, but it is renamed to SlimAct_0xE7B4D19D.rss. Because of that the name of the .rsg file is also changed, so you should modify the 13th line of Activation_reg.rss to
    Code:
    #include <SlimAct_0xE7B4D19D.rsg>
