    permanent link to my application?

Can I have a way to point to my paid application either from Web browser and Ovi Store client?
So that I can build line from my web page and from my other applications?

The best idea is to launch Ovi Store client with some specified URL/App ID and open the app page for purchase. Can it be done?

    thanks,
    /eric

This page has some direct links into OVI:

...but some of them only work when you're already logged in to OVI, even though they all seem to use the same URL format. If you aren't logged some of them say the app is unavailable. Not sure why - sort of strange.

The main problem is that you can't supply a link with a specific device set. For example, lets say that you have an application for standard 240x320 s60 devices, you put a link to the product page, once someone clicks on the link, he will access the product page without signing in (when not signed in, the default device is the Nokia 5800) and he will receive a message that the application isn't available because it really is not available for the 5800. I predict that this process repeats a lot of times, resulting in frustrated costumers that don't really understand how to find applications.
I hope someone from the Ovi store will take this to his attention and maybe add the possiblity of adding the device as a parameter in the product page's link.

Maybe a quick, temporary patch would be to set a cookie with the last device. That way if the consumer has been to the OVI store once and selected their phone at least once, there's a default place to start.
