    Local sync using SyncML?

Just looking at the specs for the new 6220 and saw this:

'Remote and local synchronization with SyncML'. I presume the local sync is via the Pop-Port.

I have a 3650 and as far as I can see I can only sync OTA. I am hoping that Apple will use SyncML in the next version of iSync (they have stated that they will) and that I can sync my phone and my mac via Bluetooth.

Has the 6220 got something that the 3650 does not have that allows it to use SyncML locally? Is is just a matter of new software/firmware or what?

    Thanks,

    Paul

    RE: Local sync using SyncML?

I think Nokia doesn't have a Symbian SyncML application which supports Bluetooth so things have to happen both on Apple's end and at Nokia to make this happen. I have a Powerbook and 3650 and would love this happen, though.

Are there meanwhile any Nokia phones supporting local SyncML Sync?

if you try to sync 9500 communicator, the fone search for disk "C:". if only it could be editable, i think the sync could work...
