How to prevent screen orientation change (5th ed.)

I'm developing a game that is supposed to use sensor api for controls and I specifically do not want to change the screen orientation automatically when the phone is rotated sideways. I want it to stay in the portrait mode. The problem I'm having is that I cannot find a way to prevent this from happening. Can someone please instruct how this can be done with 5th edition?

one way would be to use set the orientation, then the default automatic would be swithed off.

hi..tunylund, pass the following in Your BaseConstructL() function of APPui:

BaseConstructL(EAppOrientationLandscape)or the other option for portrait mode and Your app will always be in the defined mode.
