    Pausing Game(very urgent)

We would like to ask you the same question. Are there any classes or API that we can implement to find a solution.

    We need this very urgent

    Please search on this forum for a quick solution to your queries. Here is what I found when I searched for "pause call"

    put this code in you program...

    when the phone calls ...system will notify the hideNotify()
    so we should to pauase our game in out thread.
    and then we hang out the phone call can use showNotify() to
    continue our game!

    /** pause the thread */
    public void hideNotify(){
    GameThread.PAUSE = true; //to pause your thread
    }

    /** continue the thread */
    public void showNotify() {
    GameThread.PAUSE = false;
    repaint();
    serviceRepaints();
    }

    RE: Pausing Game(very urgent)

    Hello,

    The game will be put in the background by the device and continue running if any system information like incoming phone call or battery low be displayed. During the game design, developers should bear this in mind: we tick only when we are displayed. Canavs.showNotify() and Canvas.hideNotify() may help developers reach this goal.

    The detailed instruction can be referenced by the BlockGame document in Forum Nokia -> Java -> Code and Example -> MIDP

    Regards,
    Kui

    and incomings calls ??

    Well I test the Block Game but if you are playing and receives an incoming call the game pauses and before continues, well.
    But if you close the game and opens appears the message Application: System Error and you must to reboot the device.

    Any idea ???

    Thanks
