    Error: KErrCouldNotConnect -34 Failed to connect

    Hi

    I am working on Video Example for play Video file from RTSP server.
    and not able play video on real device E71, getting error in following code.

    Where is the problem? any idea? please tell me where is i am going on wrong?.

    could be really anything, for example a firewall that prevents the connection..

    I am able play video if tested in Web -> Navigation Options -> Go to web Address.
    But do not work with VideoExample application.

    You are experienced person so you know better than me and you told me that "firewall that prevents the connection.." so what can i do now?

    What changes are required? please suggest me.

    Please give me a idea, how i should be solve my problem.
    I am using S60 3rd edition FP1.

    Include Capabilities in .MMP file:
    NetworkServices
    ReadUserData

    Please tell me what is mean of "firewall that prevents the connection.."? and have you any idea for solve this problem? please please give me reply or suggestions.

    Am I missing anything? Do I need to connect to the internet explicitly or my application will connect to the internet using the IAPid I gave in the OpenUrlL()?

    Hi

    I have a vodafone's card, with vodafone live connection.
    Now also set proxy server address and port. Now anything is required for solve this problem?

    Please give me response. I am confused about this error, because i not getting anything from google search also.

    Please help me.

    I am set proxy server in following way but than also get -33 and -34 error.
    I have a vodafone card and access point using "Hutch World".

    Set Proxy server: Media >> Real Player >> Option >> Settings >> Streaming >> Proxy >> yes

    Get KErrCouldNotConnect Error -34
    ----------------------------------
    Ip Address: 10.10.0.100
    Port: 9401

    Get Time Out Error -33
    -----------------------
    IP Address: 010.202.002.060
    Port: 9201

    IP Address: 010.202.002.001
    Port: 9201

    Where i am going on wrong please tell me. Now i have no any idea to solve this problem. Please Please help me.

    I gotta say that I do not have a definitivive answer, when ever I have gotten those errors previously, they have been caused by something during the connection that prevents it, fo example a firewall, thus I'm not having anything to add to previous replies I have made.

    Thanks for Replay. yes you are right.

    But I am confused that mobile have a firewall? and how to solve that?
    Because i have no idea and when i tried to search in google i find that proxy server is required for do streaming video in mobile. so i set proxy server and now situation is i have no any idea that how i solved this problem.

    And my also stopped over here without solve this how i can do further process. so please if any idea to solve this or any solution than please give me.
