    Back to the application after a phone call on Series60

    Hi,

    I wrote an application for Series60 that
    makes a phone call on 7650. I followed the Dialer example
    and everything works fine. I have one annoying issue, however:
    after the phone call was terminated, the screen remains at
    the phone application, my application's screen is not returned.
    I can return to my app by hand using the application icon grid
    but I would like if my application behaved as the 7650's
    own phonebook does: after the call I would like to return
    to my own app's screen. Any idea how to do this?

    Regards,
    Gabor

    You can use a TApaTask to bring it to the foreground.

    TApaTask task(CEikonEnv::Static()->WsSession());
    task.SetWgId(CEikonEnv::Static()->RootWin().Identifier());
    task.BringToForeground();

    might be too late to post a reply...
    but, just wanted to share some info

    but there is one more way u can do that..

    void CMdaWizAppUi::HandleForegroundEventL(TBool aForeground)

    {
    TInt active = iTabGroup->ActiveTabIndex();
    CSampleView* view = NULL;
    view = (CSampleView*)View(TUid::Uid(iTabGroup->TabIdFromIndex(0)));

    if ( !aForeground )/ Pause the game if it is going in the background

    {
    ---------
    -----------

    }
    else if( aForeground ) //Resume the game... as the application comes back to fore ground
    {
    -----------
    ------------
    }

    CEikAppUi::HandleForegroundEventL(aForeground);
    }
