    [moved] Message box on first starting of carbid c++

    hi

    It was my first start of carbid c++ and suddenly after launching workbench, a messagebox appear to me showing message given below..

    "Evaluation license will expire in 7 days.

    When the license expires,this product will revert to the Developer Edition"


    Can anyone of you help me in this topic....

    Have you downloaded the carbide from http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n...119a2b4cb.html
    If so, then its supposed to be free for all editions and there should not be any evaluation license etc. issues.

    thanks for providing me link to carbid C++ download,but as i want to know you that i have used the same link that you have given to download carbid c++...

    But then also i am facing the same message box

    i have also tried to reinstall carbid after fully formating my PC but the result is same...

    If you need help why don't you post this request on the Carbide.c++ IDE forum? There is a sticky thread there with a licence file as well, you could at least try to use that as a workaround, see if it helps ...

    between, I guess somehow you are using the old exe to install, or you can try this:

    uninstall carbide.
    Delete the program files\carbide from the hard disk
    Delete and redownload the installer exe (incase this is the old one)

    and install, and while install choose OEM edition.

    Should work...
