    QR COde Reader

    Hello All,

I want to develop my own mobile QR code reader. Some open source J2ME project are going on but their functionality is not that smooth. I just checked Kaywa Reader and someone told that this is developed in Symbian.

So Please tell me Is it possible to develop this application by one programmer team and how much time it will take to develop QR Code Reader(http://reader.kaywa.com/)

    Regards,

    Prateek

Yes, it is possible, and it will take 3 days.

Did you really need this answer?

to get started, I would recommend starting from Getting started section of this forum. Install all required tools and programs, and then try out something simple, like helloworld to get started with development enviroment.

Then start reading the SDK docs and searching this dibo & Wiki for infomration on the parts you need to develop for the applciation you want to make..

I would think it take a bit longer than 3 days, I'm rather sure Wizard was giving optimistic evaluation on the time frame..

It was not the time frame, but the preconditions. I assumed a team of Symbian coders, having a working algorithm and a concept for the UI.

    Dear Kumar,

I have seen that and downloaded but I am not able to see the source in Symbian.

    Could you suggest another alternative?
