porting midlet to support touch screen / virtual keyboard

    All,

Can any kind soul point out to me what I need to do to convert my j2me midlet (that works fine on S60 3rd edition) so that it can work on the 5800 (S60 5th edition)?

Currently, my application gets stuck when it asks the user for input (in a textbox). The virtual keyboard does not come up when I tap the textbox.

    Thanks.

No, I am not using j2me polish. I get the navigation/game virtual keys after launching the midlet but once text input is needed the midlet gets stuck.

    Nokia,

My J2ME application requires number/text input in text fields. Can you help me enable a full on-screen keybaord in my java application? The d-pad/game buttons are not sufficient for data entry.

    Thank you,
    Cragin

Post Game does not launch in WTK22 Emulator.

I am having a jad file that contains MIDlet-Permissions: javax.microedition.io.Connector.http and
Nokia-MIDlet-Category: Game fields apart from other normal common fields in jad.
When I try to launch through jad in WTK game is not launching, but in KEmulator through jar game is launching.
In device it is downloading through jad.
My doubt is why it is not launching through wtk22.
    Any solution to this problem?
