    Synchronization protocol

I am looking for information on how the sync between for example outlook and a nokia 6610 (or I assume any other series 40). I understand that it's not SyncML or IrMC but I cannot find any more information than that.

As a second question (that I should be able to find answer to), can a java-program communicate thought the ir-port?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

    RE: Synchronization protocol

You can write such an application by Yourself using the PC Connectivity SDK. It can be downloaded from the Forum Nokia at http://forum.nokia.com.
PCCSDK 3.0 supports the Nokia 6610 with an IrDA connection or a DKU-5 cable.

You can use the Nokia PC Suite application also. It can be downloaded from http://www.nokia.com. Choose the Support tab and then select Your phone model (6610).

In case of java related questions please post Your question to the Java Discussion Board.

    Best regards,

    Forum Nokia
