    [moved] Best ListBox base class

    Hi,

I would like a ListBox containing 1 graphic and 2 texts on the same line like this :

    [graphic] [text_1] [text_2]

text_1 & text_2 must be in two different fonts and text_2 must be right align.

Which is the best ListBox class to do that (S60 3rd ed) ?

    Thanks in advance,
    Domi.

Re: [moved] Best ListBox base class

    Hi Lucian,

thanks for this link; of course, I know the "pre-defined" listboxes available thru Akn.. but I want the icon and the 2 texts on the same line and nothing can provide that or maybe with some 'un-documented' methods from the Akn that I don't know ....

    Rgds,
    Domi.

Re: [moved] Best ListBox base class

You just need to create your own implementation for the listbox classes. Create your own model, view and item drawer classes. Use whatever font and place when you draw an item on the screen. I don't know when but I may create an article on Wiki about this.

Anyways check this as a reference for now: http://www.antonypranata.com/article...box-symbian-os

    All the best.

Re: [moved] Best ListBox base class

    Hi Kiran,

that's exactly what I had in my mind, just thought that there was a 'quicker' way to do this and this thread was in 'parallel' with another thread I had posted today, I need not only a 'custom' lisbox but I need also to keep the skin (theme) behind.....

Kind regards, I'm waiting for your article on the wiki with impatience !
