    How to edit Proxy Settings @ runtime

    Hello All,
    I have a requirement to edit the proxy settings of an Access point during runtime.
    I have referred to the wiki examples and written a piece of code to do that.. Its able to retreive the current proxy and saves it in persistent storage (for restore purpose). Then the intention is to set the proxy to whatever I specify - this is what does not seem to work. After running this, when I go the settings, I see the same old values there.

    I am posting the excerpts here..

    Code:
    		if (KErrNone == proxyTableView->GotoFirstRecord())
    		{
    			iCommsDB->BeginTransaction();
    			proxyTableView->UpdateRecord();
    			proxyTableView->WriteBoolL(TPtrC(PROXY_USE_PROXY_SERVER), proxy.iState);
    			proxyTableView->WriteLongTextL(TPtrC(PROXY_SERVER_NAME),proxy.iHost);
    			proxyTableView->WriteUintL(TPtrC(PROXY_PORT_NUMBER), proxy.iPort);
    			proxyTableView->PutRecordChanges();
    			iCommsDB->CommitTransaction();
    		}
    Any comments???

    I have even tried writing into all the fields (cols) in that session - but to no avail.
    Can we edit the proxy table alone in commsdb?? If yes, then pls help me with that.
