    Exclamation Carbide.c++ {FP2-262MB} link broken

    It keeps saying "Forum Nokia DownloadPortal - Service Unavailable".

    I've tried with other browsers and on my N96.

    I will let the Web team know about this but please note that you can always report a web site issue using the Contact us link below.
    A newer version of Carbide.c++ is available for download at http://developer.symbian.org (look for ADT download).

    Update: What does FP2 mean?

    Thanks for the link.

    FP2 = Feature Pack 2 (Basically a series of models, ie: N95 is FP1....Feature Pack 1).

    Hi,

    Unfortunately we have experienced some slowness in our file delivery system today, so I would recommend you to try again if you don't succeed at first attempt.

    Kind Regards,
    Piia / Forum Nokia web team

    Please note that Carbide.c++ IDE is one thing and the SDKs are something else entirely. It is the SDKs that are release specific and thus have some FPx extension to their name, indicating their compatibility with certain devices. Do read yesterday's link in my signature to clarify some more things.

    I've got Carbide.c++ installed now, SDK won't downlod now (Nokia site), do you have an alternative link?

    The SDK on symbian.org is for 5th Ed. phones.

    There is no alternative link but as Piia said above there are some known issues with the server today. You may want to try at a later time and see if you have better luck.
