If you want to know list of sensors supported by device then you need to check specifications for this device - http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/matrix_all_1.html

I have not seen any list of all the sensors classified by their supported devices list. You will have to check it for each device.

But, as already noted in the article:
Note that the old sensor API plug-ins are not compatible with the S60 Sensor Framework. In addition, applications created with Sensor FW do not work in S60 3rd Edition, FP1 devices other than the Nokia E66 mobile device.

Re: List of sensors used in nokia devices

I checked on http://www.forum.nokia.com/Devices/D...pecifications/ that Nokia devices can have only the following sensors:
    Accelerometer Double Tap
    Accelerometer XYZ
    Ambient Light
    Magnetic North
    Magnetometer XYZ
    Orientation
    Proximity Monitor
    Rotation

Whether only these sensors are implemented?
What about the other sensors mentioned in JSR256 specification? For example, "network field intensity indicator" (context type = device), isn't it available?

If you mean the signal strength for GSM cell and WLAN access point, that is also available, just they are not considered to be 'sensor'-s, but part of the telephony/network interface.
