    hello,
my app wont quit on a series 60 real device - if the user presses the red phone button! (im using a 3650 device v2.5)

it looks like the destroyApp() is not executed!

the app disapear from the screen, but after a while it came back to the screen

    i have close my timer
    and have close my recordstore

does anybody have a solutions for this?

i think i have solved the problem!
korrekt me if i am wrong!!

the series 60 phones can run more than one app simultanisly
therefor the menubutton you can switch between open apps
    (press and hold the button)
so if you press the red phone or the menubutton in a java app the app goes in pausemode and switch to background

now i have insert a QUIT command im my app and call destroyApp() manualy - that works!

    view code

Hello Andreas, look at the code BlockGame , you can find it in the examples folder when you install the series 60 emulator.
In this code you find how to stop thread and resume when you press red button, the problem is when you receive a call or a system windows like low battery, etc

    Very luck
    Regards
