    Missing icon and Menu: Function not supported

    Hi

    I know what this is supposed to mean, but my icon is perfect from all I can see.

    Here are the headers:

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <!-- Generator: Adobe Illustrator 14.0.0, SVG Export Plug-In  -->
    <!DOCTYPE svg PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD SVG 1.1 Tiny//EN" "http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/1.1/DTD/svg11-tiny.dtd" [
    	<!ENTITY ns_flows "http://ns.adobe.com/Flows/1.0/">
    ]>
    <svg version="1.1" baseProfile="tiny"
    	 xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xmlns:a="http://ns.adobe.com/AdobeSVGViewerExtensions/3.0/"
    	 x="0px" y="0px" width="44px" height="44px" viewBox="-3.601 -4.261 44 44" xml:space="preserve">
    <defs>
    </defs>
    The rest is just g and line tags, basic drawing, no special effects. Works on Nokia N97, Nokia 5800, Nokia N79, but not on Nokia 5500 Sport. I am also concerned that it might not work with other models, but these are the one's I've tested.

    Tools used:

    Adobe Illustrator CS4
    Carbide.c++ 2
    Nokia N97 SDK

    Any ideas?

    Regards

    Lionel

    Same thing happens on N80 as well. But if .mif file is commented out in .pkg file then it runs fine.

    It may easily happen that S60 3rd noFP devices do not support everything from SVG-T 1.1.

    Probably so, but what else can I use? As far as I know SVG-T is the only thing supported in 3rd Edition, and 1.1 is the oldest version. I'm downloading the original 3rd Edition SDK now, I'll have a look at the default icons there (the default icon in the N97 SDK does exactly what my icon does) and compare the differences.

    Rebuilt .mif file with 3rd Edition SDK and icon works, however, Menu: Feature not supported is still showing...

    Re: Missing icon and Menu: Function not supported

    I've deleted the project, created a new 3rd Edition project, copied the source files back in, modified the default .mmp file to include edbms.lib, gdi.lib and bafl.lib. Modified the default resource files to include my localized resources for 3 languages. Used the default icon. Removed a call to PenEnabled so it can build in 3rd Edition.

    Run in all emulators fine.

    Run on any 3rd Edition (initial release) device - default icon, open application and it closes immediately (Menu: Feature not supported is gone).
    Run on newer 3rd Edition and 5th Edition devices - works fine.

    So it's not icon related anymore.

    Make sure that you are building the code with the S60 3rd MR SDK.
    And re-check if the error messages are enabled (http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ded_panic_code)
