How to transfer objects between PC and phone via Bluetooth?

I have tried to transfer pictures by using the S60 SDK's example,BtObexExample. On the PC part, I run a Widcomm SDK's Example BlueObex example. However, I find out that it does not work.

When I set the PC as the server, the phone can not connect the example BlueObex. However, It did connect to the Widocmm's service "PIM Project tranfer"(in chinese"PIM 项目传输").
What's more, when I set the Phone as the server, the BlueObex example on PC as client, the BlueObex can not find the service.

Is there anyone who do the similar work ? Could you give me some advice about how to tranfer between PC and symbian Phone? Thank you very much!

I would first debug it between devices, basically BT-OBEX usually does not need any additional custom software in the receiving end. You just would need to configure your PC's BT to be able to receive files via OBEX.

First of all, thank you for your advice. Acturally I can tranfer data from phone to PC by using BT-OBEX. However, the oppositive direction, I mean, tranfering data from PC to Phone by using Widcomm's BlueObex, can not work properly. Could you give me some advice ? or maybe you could give some other example about tranfering data from PC to phone?

I don't have any PC software, anyway, S60 devices at least have a OBEX receiving on (provided that BT is on), and if you sent a file to the device over BT OBEX, it should automatically be placed in the inbox..

When I am run the WidCOMM BlueObex example as client, the BlueObex on phone as server, the Widcomm BlueObex could find the phone, but could not find the service on phone. Do you know what's the matter? I really appricate your reply and thank you for your help.

Dunno really, but I would assume google could help you on figuring it out. AFAIK it is some very standard OBEX service that has worked with every single BT driver I have had on my computers.
