    WaitScreen has no text-wrap (j2me)

    Hi,

    i have a problem. When I show a WaitScreen on my device the text ist longer then the screen is width. There is no text-wrap. Is that a device-setting? Or can I set a value at developing time for text-wrap?

    Thanks!

    if you are using a waitscreen of netbeans, i don't think that text wrap is available there.
    you can specify new line using "\n" (new line operator).

    Unhappy Re: WaitScreen has no text-wrap (j2me)

    Here is my source:
    public WaitScreen getWaitScreen() {
    if (waitScreen == null) {
    waitScreen = new WaitScreen(getDisplay());
    waitScreen.setTitle("waitScreen");
    waitScreen.setCommandListener(this);
    waitScreen.setText("This is a long long long sample text!");
    waitScreen.setTask(getTask());
    }
    return waitScreen;
    }

    Hier you see the screen at runtime at device =(

    i dont think text of waitscreen will calculate on run time;
    so you can specify like that
    waitScreen.setText("This is a long "+"\n"+"long long sample text!");
