    Exclamation Write File

    Hello!

    I'm new at the forum.
I'am programming a simple java me aplication that needs to write a table item to a file and read it back.
By now i'm just trying to write a the file.
I'm using S60 3RD EDITION SDK FOR SYMBIAN OS and an real Nokia N70.
At the emulator the aplication can write the file correctly, it asks permition to read and write data.
But at the real mobile phone it doesn't write the file.

At mobyle phone it only ask permission to read but not to write data.
I think the problem could be related to that fact.

    Maybe you can help me.
    (Sorry my English).

For writing to the file system using JSR 75 on real device your midlet should be signed by a trusted certificate.

    Re: Write File

You would be allowed to set the permissions to your app manully if your app is signed by a trusted certificate only on some devices.

    thanks,

What parameter had u set while opening the connection is it Connector.READ or Connector.READ_WRITE.
Also check the suite settings of application in App manager of device. Check the READ and EDIT user data settings there. Set them to allowed(Ask Every Time). Check and reply..
    thanks,
