    Desperation in working with tabs

    Hi,

I´ve tried to realize the following example with some changes.
    http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...with_UI_Design

The problem, what I have now is, that when I switch between the tabs the included views are reloaded.
Is there any way to avoid the view from reloading, so that the settings made the last time working with the view are not changed?

    thx and regards,

    sascha

Ideally Symabin Applications should use MVC design pattern where the data (in your case settings) should not be in views.

    Hi,

Thx for your reply. That the data should be in the model is clear, but how can I realize it, that the elements like sliders or binary switches hold their position?

    regards, sascha

one way is to store your settings class in AppUi and from use View's DoActivateL() to load and DoDeactivate()

    Thx,

I´ve got it. It was slightly an error in thinking.

By the way, Iám searching for a possibility to minimize an application without closing them. Is there any command to do so?
I´ve used the search in this forum, but found nothing.

    regards, sascha
