    EStdKeyYes on 5800

    Hi,

    I test my app on 5800. I find that there is problem with EStdKeyYes.

    When I push EStdKeyYes my app is doing that should after pushing this button, but Symbian also show make call dialog. How to disable this. Of course on 3th all working ok.

    Hi,

    You can use the following code to disable the dial panel:

    Code:
    void CHelloWorldAppUi::ConstructL()
        {
        ...
        SetKeyEventFlags(EDisableSendKeyShort); // don't show me the dial panel
        ...
        }
    Regards

    I find next problem. When I push EStdKeyYes, voice command is starting. It is possible to block it ? I can not also find option to disable voice command, manually in Symbian options menu.

    Hi,

    then try this:

    Code:
    void CHelloWorldAppUi::ConstructL()
        {
        ...
        SetKeyEventFlags(EDisableSendKeyShort|EDisableSendKeyLong);
        ...
        }

    is there any reason you want to disable it, and re-use to launch your application. if yes then try checking in wiki for "long key press", there are examples about how to do it.
