Unhappy having a problem using arabi with SVG labels

    Hi ..

I am developing a mobile app, I have to display arabic labels on SVGform ,,, the problem is that when I type Arabic characters as SVGlabel am getting squares instead in both design mode and while running the emulator ,,, i tried to change the encoding of the string but still did not work ..

am new to J2ME and any idea or hint on how to overcome this issue would be highly appreciated ,, thanks in advance

Re: having a problem using arabi with SVG labels

Use Nokia Emulator with World Language pack installed in it, then only it will show/render Arabic characters correctly. You may need to use Unicodes to print/paint Arabic on the screen.

    thanks,
