    Camera Module on n95: Can't get full resolution Photo

    Hi all Guys!

    I have only one question for you. How can i get a full 5mpx (2592x1944) from python? I tried
    Code:
    photo = camera.take_photo('RGB', (2592, 1944))
    But it say me that the resolution is not supported by the camera... i want only to take the photo and save it. No need to elaborate it in the program.

    Thank you for any help!

    The documentation explains what you have to do and the second code snippet in this article demonstrates it.

    Re: Camera Module on n95: Can't get full resolution Photo

    Ok the code is working very well.. now i have a problem:

    I want to make an automatic software for taking photos that will be converted to an unique HDR photo on a pc. For making an HDR photo i require 3 photos: the first with normal exposure, the second with exposure +2 and the third with exposure -2.
    I write this code for taking the photos
    Code:
    appuifw.note(u'Prima foto')
    #catturo foto1
    	photo = camera.take_photo('JPEG_Exif', (2592, 1944), 0, u'auto', u'night')
    	#salvo
    	f = open(photo_savepath, "w")
            f.write(photo)
            f.close()
    #riavvio mirino e aspetto regolazione automatica
    	camera.stop_finder()
    	camera.start_finder(vf)
    	e32.ao_sleep(2)
    #seconda foto
    	appuifw.note(u'Seconda foto')
    	photo = camera.take_photo('JPEG_Exif', (2592, 1944), 0, u'auto', u'backlight')
    	#Save it
    	f = open(photo_savepath2, "w")
            f.write(photo)
            f.close()
    	camera.stop_finder()
    	camera.start_finder(vf)
    	e32.ao_sleep(2)
    #terza foto
    	appuifw.note(u'Terza foto')
    	photo = camera.take_photo('JPEG_Exif', (2592, 1944), 0, u'auto', u'center')
    	#Save it
    	f = open(photo_savepath3, "w")
            f.write(photo)
            f.close()
    	camera.stop_finder()
    	camera.start_finder(vf)
    The problem is that the photo with exposure backight and center has both ev=0 when i open with photoshop (and they have the same looking)...so night is exposure +2, center exposure 0 (i think)... how can i obtain exposure -2?!

    Known problem, search the DiBo for earlier results.

    In short: regardless what you set as parameters, the phone just gives you same pics. I recall you might get two diff pics at max, but don't recall what were the settings. My interest in this matter stopped, when I realized two pics were not enough to make HDR/LDR pics

    However that was 1+ years ago, maybe newer phones/firmware/PyS60 1.9.x is capable of more!

    Sorry,

    --jouni who experimented with N82 and most likely 1.4.5

    Is possible to write a function in c++ that works and recall it on python?
