Python or C++ for UI to integrate with C++ backend

Hi, I am a newbie to Symbian User Interface development and I have a bunch of backend Symbian C++ code that I need to interface with using some sophisticated user interfaces (using list boxes, etc.). What is the reccomended approach in such a case. The following options come to my mind - (a) do all the user interface development in Symbian C++ and then integrate it with the Symbian C++ backend code (b) do all the user interface development in Python and then try to integrate it with the Symbian C++ backend code
Development time using Python seems to be shorter, but I am sure that there must be pros and cons to both approaches. Any insights into what one's experience might have been using either approach would be rather helpful

You can create your interface easily in symbian using UI designer in carbide.

Many options are avilable as to custo control etc. You can crate what you want and you have backened code in c++ itself so i think symbian would be a good approach for you.
