    open a native address book through PIM

    how to open an native address book using PIM to select a contact in textbox?

    owh that one shouldnt be too difficult, if I'm not mistaken you can use the constraints paramter for that :

    TextField(String label, String text, int maxSize, int constraints)

    and using TextField.PHONENUMBER as the constraints parameter...

    But a second opinion on this is better I seem to remember this should be possible but I'm not entirily sure...

    Hi,
    In the slandered j2me text box you can have a constrains to specify a phone number i.e TextField.PHONENUMBER . If you want to know about jsr75 use the forum nokia wiki examples

    I think this works on all but the oldest of Nokias (MIDP-1). It certainly works on all MIDP-2 S40s, and it's a requirement of JSR-185 (JWTI). You can also use TextField.EMAILADDR on many devices, though they are not required to support this.

    me too wanna suggest u the suggestions given by tiger and graham. Can use of textfield with type Phonenumber or emailadd.
