    prevent to go to background by pressing End button(red button)

    I removed the EEikCmdExit handling in AppUi.cpp file as following:

    if ( !commandHandled )
    {
    if ( aCommand == EAknSoftkeyExit || aCommand == EEikCmdExit )
    {
    //Exit();
    }
    }

    by the way, when I press the end button(red button), app goes to background.
    how can I prevent this?

    thanks.

    Wherever you want to. You can get an RWindowGroup from CCoeEnv, and that can be accessed from anywhere.
    Otherwise you should not tamper with the red key, it is considered to be a shortcut for the idle screen, and as such, its functionality is part of the test criteria for Symbian Signed.
