Does J2ME support the Web Socket API

I recently heard about HTML 5 and the Web Socket Interface...I haven't found any support for this in CLDC1.1/MIDP2.0, is there any 3rd party library of something on similar lines for Java enable mobile phones?

Re: Does J2ME support the Web Socket API

There is no final specification for Web Sockets - the protocol is still in the process of being defined. There is no mobile API to support this.
