what advertising platform do you use?

    Hi guys,

I know that Nokia has an advertising SDK but it's not released yet, what advertising platform are you guys using? I can't seem to find any that would support javascript.

    Hi InYourDreamz,

I've still not tried this in WRT widgets, but it could be worth a try:

    Hi Jappit,

I tried admob, but it doesn't work since their javascript checks whether if your phone is an iPhone or not. I've been giving Adfonic a try, but the ads they have been serving are really too small (169 x 28) for the 5800 & n97.

    Hi,

to use AdMob from a Web Runtime widget, only current way is probably to build your own Ad request as described here:

We've been looking at the same thing for our app. We had a conference call with this company:

    http://www.goldspotmedia.com/mispot.php

last week. I don't know how good their platform is yet, but the documents they sent over are impressive and they have the best support I've seen so far for Symbian.

If anyone has any experience with them I'd love to hear your opinion.

I had a look at their site, seems pretty interesting. Do let us know how good it is when you're on it?

You really shouldn't choose a company by their website.

There are only 2 questions that you need to ask them, what is their fill rate and their eCPM.

If there fill rate is over 80% and their eCPM is over $3 you should go with them.

Google Adsense (Mobile) seems to work just fine in WRT Widgets.

Had to check it out, I was just curious.

(*) it doesn't work for WRT apps...

if you have widgets (like RSS or a complete site maybe)

it doesn't work for me (I develop games in WRT)... and adsense didn't accept my site because is not enough content...

worked with admob -> mobile sites until a few months ago...

other good ad providers: inner-active, inmobi, smaato

[EDIT wizard_hu_: (*) Shpe11 is reflecting to a removed spam-ish post mentioning WRT support from inneractive amongst other things]
