    Application Type

    Hi,
    For Nokia N-96 i want to create a back ground application there is no gui.

    What option should i choose ?
    s60 Gui application with uidesigner
    or
    Openc base console application

    i am using carbide.c++ ide
    is second option will work on nokia N-96 mobile?

    Since you are asking it for the 3rd or 4th occasion, I also remember that you want to use the GPS, which is Symbian/S60 API, so OpenC would not be a good choice.
    And if you do not want GUI, obviously "S60 GUI Application" and "S60 GUI Application with UI designer" are not the best choices.

    Vineet.jain basic console application is not compatible to nokia n-96 mobile.if you know the things then only answer otherwise dont try to misguide others.

    Actually you get answers, do not worry.
    However the really annoying thing is when you ask something in one of your threads, then suddenly decide to start an other one. For example for this "N96-query", you posted it here, but after 10 minutes you started a new thread too - http://discussion.forum.nokia.com/fo...d.php?t=180829
    You already have an answer there.
