    Nokia N-96 query

    Hi,

I created a basic console application in symbian using carbide.c++ when i try to install sisx file on N-96 mobile i get error at the time of installing type mismatch.

is basic console application not compatible to s60 version 3.2 mobile.

what next option for me for console based application ?

    Regards

There is no such installer error message as "type mismatch". What do you really get?
If you mean a warning about compatibility, that can be eliminated via adding a platfrom compatibility specifier, check for the "Series60ProductID"-line in .pkg files of examples.

Otherwise the next step will be probably this: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...ons_on_Devices

can you show your pkg file?

It seems to be a problem of platform UID it should be of 3rd edition.

you must have installed this application previously, remove the application completely from the phone.
And then try to install again.

If you search for Undefined symbol on the forum, you will notice that you have linker complaining for missing libraries for RFile, etc. Add those in the mmp file.
