    Question Accessory listing

I have been trying to mess around with accessory listing and also connection and disconnections events in the hope that I may be able to stop music playing if the headphones are disconnected. When I do "CAccMonitor* accMonitor = CAccMonitor::NewLC();" while including "AccMonitor.h" and also linking "accmonitor.lib", I always get the following error, "Main Panic E32USER-CBase 44". This is the only line inside the main function so I can't really work out what is causing it as everyone seems to do that in their examples. I appreciate it if anybody could help with this problem.

    Thanks.

    Re: Accessory listing

In GUI-less (or 'console') code you have to instantiate and install the Active Scheduler for yourself. Either CAccMonitor is an active object in itself, or it just uses an active object somewhere internally - CActiveScheduler::Add raises this panic when there is no scheduler installed.
