on device debugging of Qt application on Nokia N97

Hello, I have installed qt-4.5.0 Garden, Nokia N97 SDK 0.5 and using Carbide C++ 2.0.2. The problem is that I have only Emulator debug as a built configuration for Qt applications. However for other S60 Symbian applications I have also on device debug and release configurations. I want to set on device debug for qt application. What can be the problem?

Which version of Qt do you use? There was a version of Qt where you had to manually copy the files into the symbian SDK, otherwise you could only do emulator builds with your own compiled Qt version.

Another idea is: How did you generate your project? I had so far only luck with projects created in Carbide. My own Qt .pro-Projects miss some symbian specific stuff.

I have qt-4.5.0 Garden version which is installed via a script on MS DOS. It only brings emulator debug option.

Is there a reason why you do not use the more recent Tower release? It is a lot easier to install

Re: on device debugging of Qt application on Nokia N97 [SOLVED]
