    AMR-NB recording with example records max 7 secs!?

    Hi,

    i have downloaded the example "S60_Platform_Audio_Streaming_Example_v2_1_en.zip" from Home>Tools, Docs & Code>Resource Information. It works on the phone (it should work on every phone, cause the amr-nb codec is available on virtually every phone. But the recording time is very short!

    This is defined in the engine class:
    Code:
    // Audio data buffer size for AMR encoding. For AMR, the buffer size is the same in
    // both 2nd and 3rd Edition devices (20 ms per frame, a total of 2560 ms in 128 frames).
    const TInt KFrameSizeAMR = 14;
    const TInt KFrameCountAMR = 128;
    Is this the reason why my recoding is about 7 secs. How do i record about 2 minutes? This should work on S60 3rd phones

    try increasing this:

    const TInt KFrameCountAMR = 128; for e.g. to about 1024
