Unhappy Nokia 5800 Network connectivity issues

I have a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, and I use GPRS (data plan) as well as WIFI for Network connection. When I was using only GPRS things were working great. My native browser as well as other data-aware applications (Opera Mini, Google Maps) used to work fine. It also used to ask which connection destination the application should use.

When I started using Wifi, things were working fine in it. But when I switched back to GPRS, only the native browser works. The data-aware applications have stopped working. They no more ask me which connection destination it should use.

Is there any setting which I should set? My priority of connections is also set right - (1. WIFI, 2.GPRS)

One thing which I see new is - near my Wifi Access point item (in connection destinations) I see a 'check' icon. Does that have to anything with this?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Vegpuff
