How to get the memory card path on N96 or other handset with mass storage?

I tried two methods but both failed.
    1. PathInfo::MemoryCardRootPath(), it returns "E:\\", that is mass storage path
    2. Get drive list with RFs:riveList(), find a removable drive in the list, but it still returns EDriveE, because the mass storage also has removable attribute.
How can I get the real path of the memory card?

Does DriveList() provide you with one drive only?

There is a MDS plugin available for S60 3rd FP2 devices. See if it helps: Multiple Drive Support plugin

    Hi,

See the sample code of section 7.1("Driveinfo usage: How to use the path to check the drive type")

    "Multiple Drive Support Users Guide"
    http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n...ers_Guide.html

and if you don't want to let your app depend on the MDS API, then enumerate the available drives and get each drive info by RFsrive(info, drive), and then check out the values of all its members (iBattery, iDriveAtt, iMediaAtt, iType). I believe there must be one or more flags can help you to distinguish the internal mass storage and external memory card apart.
