    You are a Windows user and Maemo is Linux-based. It's very different from you are used to. And if you just state that nothing works after following the wiki with proven step-by-step instructions then there is really nothing that can help.

    Well I must admit that the setup experience of the maemo SDK could be improved and that I also wasted an enormous amount of time to get it working. Android is also linux based and I bet you get their SDK installed faster and with less documentation reading.

    Development for Adroid is Java-based and Java is cross-platform.
