    Which Qt Creator for Linux?

I'm a newbie to Linux, Qt and C++ (although I am experienced at programming in other languages on Windows)

I want to install the Qt Creator IDE to Linux Mint (32-bit) so I can start learning but I'm not sure which is the right download.

There seems to be two options in the download section:
    1) Qt Creator 1.2.1 Binary for Linux/X11 32-bit (31 Mb)
    2) Qt Creator 1.2.1 Binary for Linux/X11 gcc3 (27 Mb)

Could somebody please advise me what the difference is and which one is the correct one for me to install.

I think option 1) uses GCC4. See gcc --version in your linux distro to see which version of gcc do you have installed. In doubt, take the GCC4-version.
