    j2me signing

    I have prepared a application(using Netbeans) which uses the wirless messaging api.
    I want it to distribute it to my friends so do i need to sign it.
    also is it possible to decompile a obfuscated jar.

    No, you don't need to sign it, just the same as you don't need to sign it to install it on your own phone.

    Yes, it is possible to decompile the code in any JAR. Obfuscated code just produces less readable decompiled output.
