keep 'music player'-music going while using flash sounds

    Hi,

I'm doing tests on a nokia 5800, and I noticed that you can put on music through the normal 5800 music player, which keeps playing when I start my flash file (.swf). This is also what I want, so that's good. However, when there is a sound in the flash file (done with >> my_sound.attachSound(beep); my_sound.start() <<), the music stops to make 'room' for the sound. Is there also a way to keep the background music playing while using sounds in flash?

Yes! i tested it too & i dont think pure flash lite allows u to play sound in parallel. However, there is a solution i.e by extending flash lite using other languages like symbian c++ or python or mshell. Beacuase i tested on python and mshell , they let u play sounds in parallel with music player. If u r interested in extending Flash Lite, there are already many open source projects , just search this dibo .Best Ov Luck...

    Best Regards.
