enabling Local Services Capability does not start application.

    Hi All,
I am new to S60 programming. Enabling the Localservices capability does not let my application start.
I have a N85 phone and have done a small application for it. I want to extend bluetooth capability to it. I didn't change any code. I only added the local services capability in the mmp file (i am using carbide). the application gets installed but it doesnot start. the small circle rotates on the icon and thats it.

Please help me. I know this does not make any sense but thats how it is

I also use a dll. I tried giving the capability for both exe and DLL even that does not work.

    Thanks for the quick response.
The application runs fine in emulator. Its the device that has the problem.
Also there is not message as illustrated in the link. The app just doesn't start. No message nothing.
The bluetooth chat example that comes with the SDK works great. So i guess there is some problem with some configuration in carbide.

please do try the suggested link, most often when it appears not to run in a real device, it is actually crashing on the startup, and the panic code would give a good hint on what is going on in there..

    Yes Sir,

I did exactly like it is said in the link.
In the device, there is no panic information displayed (not even the default message "Program closed:/n%S").
In emulator the program does not crash at all.
I am stuck in this position for almost a week now. Please tell me what to do.

just in case something in going wrong on catching the error code, do try the Y-Tasks::Crash monitor mentioned in the page, it always gives exit codes for every process end, thus it might be a bit more relible. Anyway, do check the list shown in the plug-in, in case you don't get the error pop-up.
